Home Molding Rubber Blocks

This is a brief description of the three main services we offer when designing your ceramic mold:

 The Works!

Sculpting We offer comprehensive sculpting services, from a one of a kind original, to one that will be reproduced thousands of times.  We have sculpted miniature buildings (my personal favorite), figurines, canister sets, cookie jars, wildlife, holiday pieces, wall plaques, collectible pieces, limited editions, and many original ideas for our clients.  To see some examples of our work, click on the sculpting link.
Molding We make some of the finest ceramic molds in the industry.  From a one piece open face mold, to multi-section molds, we use the highest quality materials in the industry to insure customer satisfaction.
Rubber Blocks For the client who needs many molds of the same design, a Rubber Block is cast from the original mold to produce identical molds every time.   Again, we use the highest quality materials for this process, which insures tight seam lines and no loss of detail.

Here's how the process works:  First we offer you a free consultation for your project.  We will need photographs or drawings of the piece to be made.  We can create your drawings for you if you would like.

Then we will send you a detailed job estimate for the project, including projected costs and completion date, along with our policies and procedures.  Once everything is on paper, we will begin your sculpture. If you already have a model, we can make the mold for you.

When the sculpture is approved by you (via 35mm photographs) we will make the master mold.

After the hand crafted master mold is dry, we can send it to you for casting (keep in mind that it is the only mold in existence, and will have an average life expectancy of 100 castings), or we can use it to set up the rubber block.

If you choose to have a rubber block made, we can produce your casting molds from it, or we can send it to you and you can choose a caster closer to you,  Either way, your first 3 molds are free!

Here's a sample of our work from a photograph:

The photograph was sent to me by a client in Colorado. She wanted the design to be a cookie jar.  We made the hat the lid, changed the collar and facial paint lines, added the flower on the lapel (all changes were specified), and she is selling the finished pieces as a limited edition of 100 pieces.
