This CD, And Peace At The Last takes its title from a Choir Anthem by Leo Nestor with the same title. On this recording are three patriotic hymns blended with 15 other sacred, religious hymns and psalms. There are two original selections on this recording. The first a setting of the "Nunc Dimittis" by Msgr. William Biebel, and the second, a setting of Psalm 23 for congregation and cantor by William Herring. This recording is meant more as a prayer and meditation than simply a performance of sacred and patriotic music. It is our hope and prayer for each of you that as you listen to this CD, you will hear the voice of God call out: "Come unto me all you who labor and are heavily laden ... and I will give you rest."
