Aiden Daniel DOB 6-3-05 WEIGHT 6 lb 4.5 oz LENGTH 19.5” 13” head circumference CURRENT EYE COLOR Hazel HAIR COLOR Strawberry blonde Aiden was born 3 weeks premature at 36 weeks and 5 days.  He produced a pulmonary hemorrhage of unknown etiology shortly after birth and developed jaundice.  Aiden had to spend one week in the NICU, part of that on CPAP, IV antibiotics, umbilical IV fluids, nutrition, then stomach tube and lastly nasogastric nutrition. We were separated at his birth because of maternal postpartum hemorrhage, dilatation and curettage emergency surgery, and the need for 24-hour oxygen. As soon as I was able to visit Aiden I discovered his very feisty nature.  He had a great will to live and as soon as he was off the cpap he was doing push ups and had a great deal of control over his movements.  A week after his birth and his phototherapy mask was removed he gazed wide-eyed at the world. This experience, although trying, was really memorable and highly miraculous.  There were some anxious times and times of fear, but God brought us through and we are both doing very well!  Aiden is currently 7-months-old and is just gorgeous.
