Considering Various Feasts As The Start Of Daniel's 70th Week

In the Book of Daniel, we are told that there is an event that occurs 30 days after the end of the 70th week, and then another event 45 days later. Using the Day of Atonement as a starting point for Daniel's 70th week, I want to determine what falls on the 30th and 45th day after the end of Daniel's week? If the 70th week would start on the Day of Atonement, that would place the midpoint on the day that the lamb was chosen for the sacrifice on Passover (the tenth day of the first month, Nisan). This seems like it could be appropriate for the day that antichrist would stop the daily sacrifice.

Exo 12:3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: . . . Exo 12:6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

Dan 8:12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced, and prospered. Dan 8:13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

Figure 2

Considering the Day of Atonement as the start of the 70th week means the end of the 70th week would also be the Day of Atonement (or the eve of it at least). Working off the premise in Figure 1, Figure 2 shows the other feasts placed in their proper order just before and after the end of the 70th week. The Day of Atonement in this case would set the other feasts in place in the following manner:

  1. The Feast of Trumpets would take place 10 days before the end of the 70th week. The sixth seal could be placed in the time of this feast as it must be opened before the Day of the Lord begins, and because of the celestial phenomena contained in it, most likely is opened just before the end of the week which introduces the Day of the Lord.

  2. The Feast of Tabernacles would fall 5 days after the end of the 70th week, i.e., after the Day of Atonement. Counting 70 days from the Feast of Tabernacles we would come to the Feast of Hannakuh (Chislev 25). This would satisfy Daniel's two periods of 30 days and 45 days (75 days) from the end of the week.

  3. Another interesting point is that on the 30th day after the Day of Atonement (or the end of the 70th week) would fall the month and date of Bul. In the month of Bul, Solomon finished the building of the temple. Though there is no date given, it is possible that it was concluded on the 10th of Bul, which would be 30 days after Atonement and 45 days before Hannukah. The date of the 10th is speculative, though.

This seems to give room for some rather logical placement of the seals, bowls and trumpets into this time frame, which hopefully I can get into later after more study. At least this is a workable scenario.
