CALL DOWN - (ceremonial magic) to petition or invoke an etheric world intelligence to possess one's body, in part or in whole, in order to perform psychic acts to help persons who are in trouble or are ill. [cf. INVOCATION [cf. EVOCATION, CEREMONIAL MAGIC].

Another good description of calling the "Holy Spirit" down at "revival" meetings to enter the people when these Christians already have the Holy Spirit.

CALLED PERSON - an individual given psychic abilities (from the etheric world) to prophecy, heal, counsel, and guide. Syn. CALL, HIGH DREAM, PEAK EXPERIENCE].

Hundred upon hundreds have been told just this: that God is going to fulfill the call He has had on their life. They are ministered to through prophecy, etc.

CAPTURING THE VISION - (Findhorn, Scotland) an inner desire to participate collectively in making the world a better place to live, so strong that one starts in the process immediately with one's whole bring [cf. PATH, RIGHT-HAND-PATH, NEW-AGE PSYCHOLOGY, LANETARY WORKERS].

Is this like PK's "Seize The Moment? This definition describes the revival, the people jumping into it feet first, and the coming harvest.

CASTING OUT AN EVIL SPIRIT - to remove an etheric world entity who enters an earthling's body intermittently with evil intent, causing spasmodic seizures; magic rituals force the inferior spirit out of the body and dissipate them; see EXORCISM. [cf. POSSESSION, OBSESSION].

What the New Age calls demon possession, the "revival" calls "the anointing."

CATALEPSY - a state of suspension of vital functions in which it is impossible to move; sometimes spontaneous brought on by hypnosis, and dissipated by same; do not confuse with the normal hypnotic state; feeling of loss of contact with the environment; a temporary loss of consciousness; vitality is suppressed and body is in a fixed position [cf. TRANCE MANIFESTATION, PHYSICAL PSYCHISM].

No doubt about this one: a form of The Toronto Experience.

CATALEPSY PHENOMENA - physical phenomena in which the psychic feat is conducted by the etheric world intelligence while he or she is using the medium's body; see CATALEPTIC TRANCE.

These definitions show the feats performed at "revival" meetings are not done by the Holy Spirit, but by the spirit described in this definition.

CELESTIAL PHEONOMENA - ancient name given to any type of psychic events believed to have come from the atmosphere and without invitation; it comes as a guide, protection, or informative assistance for the earth being. [cf. PSYCHIC ART, CLAIRAUDIENCE, CLAIRVOYANCE, OMEN].

Example in "revival: CLOUDS appearing in the meetings.

CHARISMA - (Greek, "gift," giving) an inborn quality of spiritual power and leadership magnetism that draws masses to one; includes subtle, pleasant, and influential characteristics; persons who have charisma preach the gospel to large gatherings and sometimes heal at these gatherings; this type of personality easily hypnotizes his congregation without them knowing it for the length of the time of the gatherings; leader emanates psychic energy and magnetism and refers to it as the Holy Spirit; many persons who have charisma use this quality to serve mankind and others use it to serve their personal needs. [cf. CHARISMS, CHARISMATIC MOVEMENT].

Examples in the "revival": Rodney Howard Browne and Benny Hinn.

CHARISMATIC HYMM - a chant or song composed in a special vibrational frequency so that its tone and rhythm stir the emotions of each member of the gathering; music is played extremely loud and the words are repititious; puts congregation in an altered-state-of-consciousness and encourages one to talk-in-tongues and to rise up and give prophecy. [cf. RAISE THE VIBRATIONS, MASS MUSIC].

A good description of "revival" music for sure.

CHERUBIM AND SERAPHIM MOVEMENT - (West Africa) a ceremony of hymms, drums, and dancing to raise the vibrations in a church service until psychics in the congregation go into an altered state of consciousness and bring forth information from etheric world intelligences to inspire, teach and protect their people. [cf. TEMPLE DANCERS, MERCY GROUND, WATCH SERVICES].

Sounds a lot like the gathering at Whistler's Mountain in Vancouver, with aspects of regular "revival" meetings.

CHRIST - (Greek Kristos, "anointed") (Hebrew Messiah) the word Christ per se does not refer to any particular person; every person earning the right to become anointed is christed; after being anointed, Christ is used as his or her title; the Logos of Infinities (cf. CHRISTED).

Ken Copeland actually teaches to remove the word "Christ" and put "Anointed" in his place. Thus we receive "the anointing" because we receive Christ. In other words, we, like New Agers, are "christed."

CONVULSIONARY - (possession) one who is possessed by a low-grade entity which frequently shows itself in seizures; individual goes into an involuntary cataleptic trance without the power to stop it; body does contortions, and voice says words the individual would not normally say (Inconcl.) [cf. DUAL PERSONALITY, RESCUE CIRCLES, STATIC ELECTRICITY].

Toronto phenomena again.

CONVULSIVE MEDIUM - one who trembles and becomes feverish when the etheric and overexcited when the etheric world entities are intervening for communications. [cf. TRANCE, MEDIUMSHIP, INITIATORY SICKNESS].

COSMIC FIRE - 1. The primal source in its unorganized state emanating as the divine light before it became the universe. Syn. GREAT WHITE LIGHT, IMPERISHABLE ONE, GOD. 2. The potential energy lying dormant in the base of the kundalini that has the potential to become ignited and help the human race evolve on its path to TOTALITY. Syn. KUNDALINI FIRE [cf. SERPENT FIRE, FIRE, KANDA].

This is the power being "loosened" in "revival" meetings, such as those held by Rodney Howard Browne.

CREATIVE QUIET - a level of consciousness in which psychic information can be perceived with accuracy; level is reached after one has been meditating long enough and the psychic recognizes the sensation of this level; the more one reaches his or her creative level of consciousness the less meditation time it takes beforehand; the listening mode. [(Inconcl.) Syn. GOING-TO-LEVEL [cf. MENTAL PSYCHIC PROCESSES].

Similar to the experience of those who have received the "new revelations" for the "revival."

CROWN - (capitalized) (THE TOP and "Christos") the whirling vortex of energy that emanates a huge glow surrounding the head; seen visibly when one has purified the soul-mind to earn the rank of being Christed; i.e., the light around Jesus, especially at the time of the ascension. (Inconcl.) Syn. CROWN OF GLORY, CROWN CHAKRA, SAHASRARA. [cf. A;CHEMY, GLORIFIED BODY, PURIFIED BODY, NIMBUS].

A seemingly apt description of the end result of the glorification of a Manifest Son of God.

CULT SYNDROME - refers to destructive-brainwashing cults and their ability to drastically change the beliefs, morals and personalities of young adults with abnormal swiftness; victim's new personality is unrecognizable to friends and family; cult recruiters snare and coerce millions of young adults into joining their organizations through false statements given through on-the-spot-hypnosis, mental telepathy at a distance, mass-hypnosis, and constant repetition of planned ploy aimed at one's basic emotional needs; because of the cult's disguised methods all persons are vulnerable who are not educated in parapsychological principles.(Inconcl.) cf. DESTRUCTIVE-BRAINWASHING CULT, MASS ELEMENTAL, ON-THE-SPOT HYPNOSIS, AUTOMATION, PLOY].

Similar to the current youth movement within the "revival." On one of the youth programs on TBN, I heard one girl say, "It's wonderful. I felt the Holy Spirit's power move up through my legs and out my hands." That's kundalini.

CULTURAL TRANCE - to consciously or subconsciously hold on to outmoded beliefs and values from a past society; acts as a mental block and prevents the individual from expressing themselves in modern beliefs and personal desires, hindering his or her involvement. [cf. PERSONALITY TRANSFORMATION, BELIEF SYSTEM.]

Though in New Age terms, much of what those in the "revival" say about us who are opposing it because it is not from God.
