BAPTISM BY FIRE - (esoteric) the moment of arousal and raising of kundalini power, felt by the person as a surge of energy enters the chakra [cf. SACRED RIVER IN MAN, MUSICAL LIGHTS].

This is "felt fire," where for years there was no such thing and many received the Holy Spirit. The false defense is the church has now matured enough to handle it.

BIOELECTRIC PHENOMENA - (esoteric) to release from one's body an abnormal quantity of electricity causing unpleasant psychic events at random; performed unconsciously and unavoidably; psychic reacts like a high voltage wire to any person or object that touches him or her; this body chemistry is inborn and sometimes cannot be altered to alleviate this effect; a rarity [cf. ELECTRIC GIRLS, PHYSICAL MANIFESTATIONS/MISCELLANEOUS Appendix 2].

Most of the major restored prophets and healers have manifested this phenomena after becoming "anointed."

BIRTH SYMBOL - the birth of a baby, flower or animal as seen in dreams or perceived in psychic visions, means that something new is going to occur; a universal symbol that infers a beginning, i.e., the birth of a job, marriage, car, etc. [cf. DREAMSTUFF, SYMBOLS, ARCHETYPAL IMAGES, PSYCHIC INFORMATION, VISIONS].

This principle appears to have been used in the prophecies of the coming SPIRITUAL birth of the "corporate man" both in the "revival" (through its "new revelations") and the New Age with the year 2000 in view.

BLACK CROWN CEREMONY - (Tibet) a special ceremony for thousands of a people where the black crown is worn by special holy men, and believed to bring them psychic ability to release tremendous power through himself, and to put thousands in a state of ecstasy, making it possible for many healings of the mind and body to occur. [cf. TRADITION, BEAMED ENERGY, MENTAL HEALING].

A very interesting definition considering the WE-ARE-ONE CONSCIOUSNESS prophesied by Maitreya for 2000, and also the Bible's description of the antichrist and his ability to flatter and deceive people.

BLANK AWARENESS - to feel that nothing is going on and yet one is awake; a state of consciousness in which one is not aware of anything in particular, and yet one is not asleep [cf. NONBEING, PURE AWARENESS].

BLANK MOOD - a state in which the mind is active, yet neutral or devoid of opinion; necessary for psychic and radiesthetic work. [cf. MANTRA, MEDITATION, BIOFEEDBACK TRAINING, GOING-TO-LEVEL, MONKEY CHATTER].

BLOWING UPON THE SICK - (Native American) to cure the sick by blowing one's breath upon them; "with breath and hands they cast out infirmity." [cf. SPIRIT HEALING, BREATH RETENTION, RHYTHMIC BREATHING, BREATHING].

A similar practice is practiced by some in the "Revival," Benny Hinn to mention one.

BREATHING - (esoteric) 1. one of the processes for putting "spirit" into the body, which is absolutely necessary for the life of that body; the master function of the body; all other functions are secondary; the nervous system extracts the "spirit" from the breath, and uses it with an importance similar to the oxygen in the blood; oxygen and carbon dioxide are a secondary necessity; the more deeply one breathes the better one's physical health and longevity will be; 2. deep breathing helps to amplify the psychic signals in the mind. [cf. SPIRIT, LOW BRATHING].

There has been an increase in having people breathe in and then out to receive the anointing on TBN. I have watched ministers tell people to breathe in and out until the minister "knows" the anointing has entered the person, stating the fact with words such as, "There it is." Benny Hinn says when we breathe out we breathe out ourselves and when we breathe in we bring in God.
