The CNN Broadcasting of the
Erie Chamber Orchestra

On February 13th, 1997, CNN came to Erie, Pennsylvania to produce a feature story on the Erie Chamber Orchestra and its'

Music Director - Bruce Morton Wright. The CNN Production Crew spent the entire day of Thursday, February 13th filming the activities Mr. Bruce Morton Wright was required to complete in preparation for the Friday night, February 14th concert.
The
Production Crew interviewed Director - Bruce Morton Wright, Vilma Treo
Lohr - Panel Member of the Clarence E. Beyers's Music Fund, Holly Sydow
- Principal Flutist of the Erie Chamber Orchestra, Paul Schlossman - Principal
Oboist of the Erie Chamber Orchestra, Student - Julia Engel Sherman, winner
of the "Meet the Soloist" Program,
and Monsignor David A. Rubino, Ph.D. - President of Gannon University.
On
Friday February 14, 1997 at 7:30 p.m. the CNN Crew video recorded
the "Guess the Composer"
Concert performed in the Gannon University/
Mary, Seat of Wisdom Chapel/ 512 Peach Street/ Erie, Pennsylvania 16507.
The
recording included the Orchestra performance and the audience reactions.
The final story was broadcasted on March 23, 1997 as part of the CNN "Sunday
Morning" Program.
The
Erie Chamber Orchestra wishes to express its appreciation to CNN for their
interest in our organization and the production of this story. The Erie
Chamber Orchestra mission is to serve the entire Erie Community and this
