Educational Qualifications: |
2 or 4 year Mechanical Engineering Degree |

Experience: |
5 years experience checking concepts, designs, layouts, detailed parts and product drawings. |

Essential Skills: |
- Advanced knowledge of tolerances, clearances and fit of parts.
- Strong engineering background with knowledge of drafting standards.
- Ability to find problems and mistakes.
- Some experience with the internet and E-commerce.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills required.

Desired skills:

- Knowledge of heat expansion in hot runner systems.
- Experience with various plastics tooling .
- Knowledge about advanced 3d design or solid modeling.

Certifications and Specialized training |
Certification with any MS Office products. |

Responsibilities &
Job Functions |
- Assist to ensure superior quality in all aspects of services to our customers.
- Review all projects for completeness and accuracy.
- Participate in design review and analysis discussions on all work prior to final release to customer.
- Assist with solutions and corrective actions on engineering problems.
- Requires excellent people skills using 'positive' criticism when checking projects.
- Mark up and correct any errors found in CAD documentation, technical publications and brochures.
