Solid modeling is a method of designing 3D parts for visualization,
engineering, analysis, computer aided manufacturing and
documentation. Here is a sample 3D solid model cavity. Shown is
the steel cavity insert which injection molds half of a plastic coat
hanger. This is a 2 cavity mold designed with pin-point gating.
It took about 5 hours to build this cavity model. For more
