This is a sample 3D layout of a plastic injection mold. Shown
is the back half of the assembled mold viewing parting line.
This is a 2 cavity mold with a short balanced runner
system using tunnel gates. This mold design was done using solid modeling. The part molded is a tape measurer cover.
We design molds used in the plastic injection molding industry. This
includes both single a multiple cavity molds used to produce medical,
automotive, electronic and consumer products. Our 3D mold design models include
all the parting lines, rounds, fillets and drafts. This guarantees the
toolmakers and programmers receive all the data for a complete and precise
mold build. Your cores and cavities can be machined directly off this
design data.

mold components. This includes the mold layout and assembly drawings
with a separate bill of material. Each design incorporates a mold handbook. This manual
details and references all the important mold features and information about your
particular mold. Such items as mold base plate waterlines are shown in easy to
read schematic form with labeled 'ins' and 'outs' for proper cooling hook-up. We also
furnish pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and hot runner schematics when applicable. There is
a design completion check list to assure the mold design is complete
and meets high standards for quality that our customers expect.
