| 3D PLASTIC PART DESIGN ~ 3D Design |
|
|
Solid modeling is a method of designing 3D parts for visualization,
engineering, analysis, computer aided manufacturing and
documentation. Here is a sample 3D solid plastic part design . The
wire overlay will appear when moving your cursor over the solid
model. Feel free to contact us for more information on this subject.
We would be happy to discuss and assist you on any of your
plastic part designs. Our E-mail address is design3d@velocity.net
or go to our Advanced 3D Design contact page.
GUIDELINES FOR PLASTIC PART PRINTS A. Part prints will be fully dimensioned and toleranced. (except for complex, sculptured and irregular surfaces where the CAD model will be used as data and that area will be called out as such.) B. Drafts will be shown and clearly defined. C. All radii will be called out. D. Surface finish and/or texture will be called out. E. Moldability of product will be assumed. F. Part name, number and revision level will be stated. G. No duplicate lines will be allowed in database unless they are on separate layers and for a revision level. H. All database entities to intersect within .0001" min. J. Database will be separated into levels and colors. H. All plastic part design drawings will have correct view placement using standard drafting practices. |
