Your privacy is our priority.  This is our pledge to you, as you will see by reading this statement of our privacy policies.

 

 Membership is defined as you who have a continuing relationship with us, such as:  Share deposits, Share draft deposits, and loan accounts.

 

 NON-PUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION means information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you.  Non-public personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.

 

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information we receive from you on applications or any other forms.  (such as name, age, social security number or taxpayer ID number)

 

Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others.  (such as account balance, payment history)

 

Information from a consumer-reporting agency.  (such as a credit report)

 

THE INFORMATION WE DISCLOSE

To provide our members with high quality and low cost financial products and services, we reserve the right to disclose information that has been obtained as described above to companies that provide marketing or other services on our behalf.  This information may also be disclosed to other financial institutions with which we have a joint marketing agreement.  The Credit Union only works with companies that agree to protect our member’s privacy and agree not to sell the information we provide to other third parties.

 

 We do not disclose any non-public personal information about our members or former members to any affiliated or non-affiliated third parties except as permitted or required.  If you terminate your membership with Tri State Rail Federal Credit Union, we will not share information we have collected about you, except as permitted or required by law.

Tri State Rail Federal Credit Union pledges to maintain strong security controls to ensure that member information is protected.  Our employees and Credit Union volunteers hold your information in the strictest confidence as a requirement of their employment and/or affiliation with Tri State Rail Federal Credit Union.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your non-public personal information.
